2026 is going to be AMAZING!

2026 is going to be AMAZING!

But you

You complete my dreams

Whenever there's a problem

If ever I'm in need

Before I can close my eyes

Before

I take the deep breath

That I breathe

You'll be right there

Waiting on me

And this is know

Because you stink

Working hard

And sweating it out

For me

Smelling like

You did from last week

And the week before that

You stink

But you

You complete my dreams

Whenever there's a problem

If ever I'm in need

Before I can close my eyes

Before

I take the deep breath

That I breathe

You'll be right there

Waiting on me

I wrote this poem because recently, someone said that I've got body odor. I know! It almost took me out when I heard it. I got half the nerve to write Gucci, write Prada, and tell them their products ain't working. The other half of my nerve made me realize, that's one person's opinion. I deal with hundreds of people each day. I get compliments on the way I smell. When I leave the room, the smell lingers. I concur, it doesn't matter the way that I look, smell, dress, whatever. Didn't I get you from point A to point B? With some motivation and encouragement too?

I'm optimistic this year, although I am all the time. I wish you all the blessings and good things you have coming your way, and the friends! Yay!

I'm almost finished with my three part story which to me, is amazing. I tested it out to several people and they can't believe that I wrote it first, and second, I don't specify the timeline so they see it as happening now, as opposed to antiquity.

The three part stories are first, “The Curse of Ankur”. It tells the story of Prince Ankur who has this curse on him to where he falls in love the fastest. It's full of magic and wonder.

Second, is “The Broken Heart Collector”, which tells the story of how the Broken Heart Collector came to be. This story is more literal, and I've gotten so many compliments on the arrangement of things. It tells the story of the Broken Heart Collector's mother, who always asks, “Do you love me? How much do you love me?”.

Third is “Queen Amarra”, which is a conclusionary tale of the first two. Although you won't have to read the first two to know what's going on, I highly suggest that you do. It brings so many elements out of the first two stories and explains it all.

I'm so proud of the three stories. Yay! Again they are:

  1. The Curse of Ankur
  2. The Broken Heart Collector
  3. Queen Amarra

Hopefully, this year I will travel. My cousin just bought a house in Atlanta and my other cousin is having a baby shower in Wisconsin. Plus, I love to visit Texas. Just visit though, not to live. It reminds me of my teenage years when I was asked, “Do you want to be a big fish in a little ocean or do you want to be a little fish in a big ocean?”. At that time I answered, “I am a big fish in a big ocean”, but I have decided that I am a big fish, but I don't need an ocean.

I need a digital creator or someone to turn my ideas into reality, or just something people can watch. I've been thinking that I need a visual to reach people, not just words. If they can see it and not just read it, I'd engage with more people. The problem though, is that I feel when I do that, I set the location, the time, the mood. When I tell a poem, it doesn't matter the location, the time.

I wrote a story called “The Children's Division”, which is a comedy type story that I would like to turn into a play. I've been reading back over it and the principles are there, just undeveloped. Plus, I've never written a play. I feel like Tyler Perry but I think that when it comes to directing and all of that, I'm out.
